What are the minimum requirements to join?

You must hold a valid UK CAA Flyer ID and Drone operator ID. Furthermore, because you will be operating commercially, we require you to hold valid Commercial Public Liability Insurance (compliant with EC 785/2004). While a GVC is highly recommended, experienced A2CofC drone pilots with commercial insurance are also accepted for specific briefs.

Is it really free? How do you make money?

Yes, joining the network and receiving leads is currently 100% free. We do not take a commission on your jobs. In the future, as the network scales, we plan to introduce a small, flat monthly membership fee for drone pilots to remain on the directory. However, early adopters who join now will lock in extensive free periods.

Will I get leads from the other side of the country?

No. When you set up your profile, you designate your base postcode and your maximum travel radius (e.g., 50 miles). You will only receive project briefs that fall within your operational area, ensuring you aren't wasting time reading irrelevant jobs.

Who handles the billing and invoicing?

You do. We act solely as an introduction platform. Once a client accepts your quote, your contract is directly with them. You define your payment terms, request deposits, and issue your own invoices.
