Marketplace Issue Policy

HireDronePilot is an intro marketplace and acts as a facilitator and record keeper only. For service disputes between clients and independent drone pilots, our role is to record and signpost. We are not a party to service contracts and do not adjudicate workmanship or payment outcomes.

No-Show

Platform action: Record complaint details, keep workflow records, and signpost direct resolution between client and independent drone pilot.

Platform non-action: No adjudication of compensation, liability, or completion outcomes.

Suspension rule: Pattern no-show complaints may trigger temporary invite suspension pending review.

Evidence handling and retention: Complaint record, timestamps, and platform communications retained for up to 24 months.

Poor Work Quality

Platform action: Log issue details and signpost parties to contract-based resolution outside the platform.

Platform non-action: No technical determination of workmanship quality or contractual remedy.

Suspension rule: Repeated credible complaints may trigger temporary invite suspension while records are reviewed.

Evidence handling and retention: Submitted evidence and complaint records retained for up to 24 months.

Safety/Compliance Complaint

Platform action: Record allegation, preserve available records, and request supporting evidence.

Platform non-action: No regulatory ruling or legal finding by HireDronePilot.

Suspension rule: Credible safety/compliance allegations can trigger immediate temporary invite suspension.

Evidence handling and retention: Safety-related records retained for up to 36 months.

Payment Dispute

Platform action: Record dispute metadata and signpost direct resolution between contracting parties.

Platform non-action: No adjudication of invoices, payment timelines, or refund obligations.

Suspension rule: Not automatic; escalation only for repeated abuse or fraud indicators.

Evidence handling and retention: Payment dispute records retained for up to 24 months.

Communication Abuse

Platform action: Record incident, preserve communication logs where available, and apply platform conduct policy.

Platform non-action: No legal determination beyond platform moderation actions.

Suspension rule: Immediate temporary restriction or suspension may apply for credible abuse.

Evidence handling and retention: Incident records retained for up to 24 months.

Data/Privacy Complaint

Platform action: Record complaint, investigate handling against policy, and respond with findings and next steps.

Platform non-action: No legal advice or representation.

Suspension rule: Processing restrictions may be applied while investigation is active.

Evidence handling and retention: Privacy complaint records retained for up to 36 months.
